Calligraphy

Shifu Jianye Jiang has been practicing caligraphy since he was 13 years old. When he was young, he developed huge interest for Chinese caligraphy after seeing many different styles of ancient caligraphy carved on stones walls in Confuses' Palace. He learned and practiced through out the years independently with guidance from his father and his teachers. He is especially well known for his "finger" caligraphy; his "brush" caligraphy are also a true work of art.

In 1989, Jianye Jiang has opened his own Chinese caligraphy exhibition. It was a huge success with the proceeds in excess of $10,000 being donated to the Chinese Handicapped Organization. He would later be appointed as an exchange professor and ambassador of friendship to the United States in Skitmore college (New York) for his outstanding skills and understanding of arts and physical education. He moved to the United States in 1989, and have been practicing his craft here, since.

Below are various styles of caligraphy of which Shifu Jianye Jiang has mastered.
